The Science-Backed Standard for Regenerative Agriculture

Terra Sancta Certification™

A New Standard in Regenerative Certification

Terra Sancta Certified™ is unlike any other certification. Built for small, values-driven farmers—not corporations—our approach eliminates bureaucracy and replaces it with integrity, impact, and relationship. We prioritize soil health, real storytelling, and community-based verification.

What Makes Terra Sancta Different

  • No Bureaucracy, No Paperwork Maze: Digital-first, paper-light certification with real human conversations.

  • Story-Based Assessment: Farms share video or written reflections instead of navigating endless paperwork.

  • Soil Testing with Purpose: Annual tests track real, regenerative impact—data is anonymized and published annually.

  • Peer & Community Input: Testimonials and photos build a fuller picture of your farm’s impact.

  • Supportive, Not Punitive: If you're struggling, we offer help—not revocation.

How Certification Works

  1. Apply Online — Simple form, digital-first process.

  2. Share Your Story — Video or written reflections based on Terra Sancta principles.

  3. Add Testimonials — From customers, neighbors, or peers.

  4. Photograph Your Work — Compost, cover crops, biodiversity… let your farm speak for itself.

  5. Soil Test Submission — One test per year from any standard lab.

  6. Human Conversation — Talk directly with a Terra Sancta reviewer (a fellow regenerative farmer).

  7. Certification Decision — Based on a holistic understanding, not a checklist.

  8. Annual Renewal — Reflect on your year, submit updated soil test, and stay connected.

Requirements & Standards

We balance flexibility with firm, meaningful requirements:

  • Annual Soil Test Required
→ Costs $70–$150, depending on the lab
→ Used to verify ecological improvement
→ Data is anonymized and published

  • Annual Self-Reflection
→ What did you improve? What challenges did you face?

  • Improvement Windows
→ Farms showing no soil progress get expert support and a full year to improve

  • Randomized Supportive Audits
→ Gentle check-ins, not gotcha inspections

  • Aspirational Standards
→ We recognize that transformation takes time—we’re here to support you

Created with love and full transparency by a small farmer, for small farmers.

As the founder of Sacred Plant Co, I created Terra Sancta to bring 100% transparency to a space that too often hides behind red tape and corporate influence. I wanted a certification that small farms could trust—because I needed it myself. Every part of this system is designed to be honest, accessible, and rooted in real ecological impact.
